Cuppa?

Where's my cold brew?

Can I/we (+ husband Ted) connect with you during our visit?

All Things Visas

Before you ask: yes, we've been working with a licensed immigration advisor (Working In New Zealand), and they've advised we're both eligible for Accredited Employer Work Visas - either of us can be the primary applicant - and would be on track to apply for a Skilled Migrant Category Resident Visa after working in our position for three years.

If your organisation is not yet accredited, Working In's licensed advisers can guide you through the accreditation process and ensure your application meets INZ’s requirements, or you can go through the process directly with the Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment.

I promise the other sides of these business cards include the missing critical info. :)

How Can We Help?

We both currently work for the Port of Seattle/SEA Airport.

Kati Davich

I have 20 years' professional experience and - per the visa requirements - am approved to work in either emergency management or marketing/communication roles.

For the last eight years, I've worked as the Port's Emergency Preparedness Planning & Policy Program Manager, managing the Continuity of Operations (COOP) program, the Port-wide All-hazards Communications Plan, Mass Communication System Steering Committee (we currently use Everbridge), and more. I've also passed my exam for and am just finishing up a couple professional contributions to apply for my Certified Emergency Manager certification.

Previously, I worked in marketing (mainly event and promotion production) and communications: five years with the Port's Maritime Division after seven years at the Seattle and Saint Paul downtown associations. (Capital City Partnership, the Saint Paul Downtown Association I worked at, was dissolved shortly after I moved to Seattle. I helped fundraise for and produce a yearly holiday tree lighting, temporary ice skating rink, art statue campaign, and visitor blog as well as supporting projects for the arts, Saint Paul Sister Cities, and economic development.)

I'd love to connect with you on LinkedIn!

Ted Williamson

Ted has 13 years' professional experience and - per the visa requirements - is approved to work in maintenance engineer roles.

Ted's hoping to connect with folks in industrial heating and cooling/HVAC&R or general maintenance. He's also a US Navy veteran.

We can send our CVs and Working In New Zealand Letters of Support upon request.

About Us

A photo of Kati and Ted smiling with a restaurant in the background.

Kati: native Minnesotan, dog crazy, loves to plan and organize anything, works in emergency management and communications.

Ted: military brat and US Navy veteran that calls Dallas home, home brewer, artist, works in industrial heating and cooling maintenance.
Both: currently living in Seattle, love cooking/grilling/smoking, traveling (ask us about Mexico), and being goofy.
